Job description

Tessenderlo Kerley International
  • Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the key value objectives of the business and translate these objectives into clear objectives for the suppliers.
    • Perform regular performance review meetings for own contracts and give input to the Category Manager on the performance of strategic suppliers.
    • Handle first line escalations for all contracts within T&L, both for TKI as well as KU Europe
    • Conduct research on supplier market dynamics, cost drivers, supplier business models, total cost of ownership models and historical spend to enhance future negotiations.  Ensure this information is maintained and shared throughout the organization
    • Manage and source the total spend for the assigned contracts. Manage KPI’s and Scorecards: prepare, analyze & define actions.
  • Procurement and RFQ Management:
    • Send quotation requests and prepare RFQ/RFP
    • Analyze offers and prepare award documents.
    • Serve as the Topical expert for assigned contracts.
  • Contract Management:
    • Launch and monitor the implementation of awarded contracts in collaboration with the legal department.
    • Negotiate prices, modalities, conditions, and contracts for assigned commodities.
    • Ensure competitiveness and equality of contracts with suppliers and service providers.
    • Implement KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Supplier Management:
    • Source and identify service providers.
    • Stay updated on the latest market trends.
    • Organize and lead follow-up meetings with suppliers, set up enterprise relationships
    • Identify supplier performance issues and determine improvements
  • Customer satisfaction :
    • Install communication possibilities for customers to report on satisfaction issues
    • Determine procedures to measure supplier performance objectively
    • Coordinate complaint handling process for T&L.

Profile

  • Bachelor in Logistics Management or equivalent through experience in Logistics.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of procurement and sourcing of the assigned services. Knowledge of ADR and bulk transportation are a plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch, English and French
  • Excellent analytical skills with an all-round vision.
  • Structured and methodological way of working.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs efficiently.
  • Good project and planning skills to drive sourcing cross-functional teams to results within a set timeframe & budget
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Pro-active problem-solving and initiative-taking attitude. Hands-on mentality

Offer

You will be expected to be present at the production site from Kuhlmann once per week (Lille, France)
